Mar loves Korina... So what?

Tuesday, January 8, 2008 | posted in , , , , , , | 10 comments

I just read a blog article about the Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez Wedding yesterday and I think it was time to discuss that thing here.

Many people have been for or against their relationship. Senator Mar Roxas II's critics say that he's just using Korina Sanchez for his candidacy as Senator last 2004 and now probably as President in 2010. They must be nuts! I don't know why his critics keep on pointing out that Mar is not an effective, charismatic and intelligent leader that he has to depend to a single person in order to trumpet himself. Is Korina a threat that we should be afraid of her having a relationship with Mar? I think not! Korina has a very good record in public service and she is true to herself. She has principles and so does Mar have. They are a perfect match as far as I am concerned.

Should we have the right to deny Mar's feelings. Of course NO! Do you want yourself to be dictated on whom you should be together with your entire life?

So, Mar loves Korina! What's the problem then?

I think that once you're a public figure, it's only natural that people will be curious (and even sometimes critical) about your personal affairs. Also, in my opinion, people are concerned about it because if ever Sen Roxas becomes president and if they get married, Korina will become first lady. And so, people are looking into their relationship if it's "first-couple" material. Even when Estrada became president, he had to be with Madame Loi to please the public, even though they've been separated for years.

Lester, I think Mar should not be bothered being bachelor up to know. But, on the other hand, the Filipinos seems curious about having a bachelor president.

Mar deserves Korina, as far as I think.

Why not! they were perfect match & when he gets into office there would be a 1st presidential wedding. I like them talaga kakakilig talaga cla tignan.

Pahabol ko lang if possible pag nagkasolo album na c Korina pwede ba cla magrecord ng duet nila.

I wanna hear her sing again coz I like her voice everytime she sings anyway it's her passion naman eh!

its a bit gimmiky for me...

however, if they wanna go through with it then they're free to marry each other.

i personally think that korina is not that much of a first lady material... but that's just me.

i just think that sometimes, its like a gimik. that everything is too good to be true. but for some instances, i also feel how they love each other. they haven't been in the public always, that's a fact.
